EMPTY

We have all been there. Tired, exhausted, empty. This personal project explores that single moment when you are spent, with nothing left to give. To capture the truth of this I had the subjects ride hard on the stationary bike until they couldn't ride any further, and then asked them to push again. These expressions are real. The pain of pushing yourself and the relief when it is over.

This work was recently published in our new magazine PROOF - a place for all things photographic - check it out and subscribe for more information.
